Young scientists from the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences were awarded PLN 1,936,687 in the National Science Centre Preludium 20 competition. We present another five projects covering, among others, airborne laser scanning, research on human mobility, the influence of microorganisms on polyphenolic compounds and changes in Icelandic soil.

Two countries and two diplomas - on September 15, the recruitment for a degree programme in the field of Food Technology in English will begin. UPWr is co-organising them together with the Spanish Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche. Students will spend part of their studies in Orihuela, where they will learn about different regional technologies and products, among others.

UPWr students of Landscape Architecture have designed plans for the development of the Biskupin Campus aligning with the principles of sustainable development. – The students' ideas are interesting and full of innovative and 'green' design solutions. So, there should be an impulse to take action so that the campus becomes a model, multifunctional public space in Wrocław in the future – says Dr. Anna Bocheńska-Skałecka.
