The department consists of Division of infectious diseases and veterinary administration (Head: dr Robert Karczmarczyk, prof. uczelni), Division of avian, exotic, fur and laboratory animal diseases (Head: prof. dr hab. dr h. c. Alina Wieliczko), Veterinary Clinic (Head: lek. wet. Lucyna Ilnicka), Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory „Epi-Vet” (Head: dr Michał Bednarski), Unit of Fish Diseases and Unit of Beneficial Insects Diseases.
The department conducts scientific research, didactics and veterinary services in the field of infectious diseases of animals and avian, exotic, fur and laboratory animal diseases.
