Excellence in clinical science - the project of improving clinical competencies of students of the Veterinary Medicine Faculty of the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences

Implemented by the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences from the SPINAKER Program, financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange by the financing agreement No. PPI/SPI/2020/1/00067/U/00001 of July 22nd, 2021.

Submission of applications: March 22nd – April 1st, 2023 (the order of applications decides, we reserve the right to terminate recruitment in advance in the event of obtaining a sufficient number of applications)

Announcement of results: April 2nd,  2023

The target group will be a group of 30 international students, including 20 international students, studying at the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences under the English Division, Erasmus +/CEEPUS Program) and 10 veterinary students from other foreign universities, acquired as part of academic exchange.

The curse will consist of a theoretical part using remote learning tools (2/3 of the estimated time = 34 teaching hours) and a practical part conducted onsite in the form of workshops with live animals/cadavers (1/3 of the estimated time 16 teaching hours). It is planned to carry out four 7-hour and one 6-hour online lectures (from Monday to Friday), and immediately in the following weeks, the practical part in the form of 2 meetings of 8 and  7 teaching hours (Monday, Tuesday). The days off between events will let the students from abroad come to Wroclaw. Another day is planned for the implementation of the cultural program in the form of contact with students belonging to local IVSA and the performance of the initiative of visiting selected cultural heritage sites in Wroclaw and Lower Silesia.

IIEP "Dogs and cats diseases" will be conducted by high-class veterinary specialists from the following colleges: the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging and the European College of Animal Reproduction.

- Dr. Andrea Münnich, Dipl. ECAR Tierarztpraxis Schönow 

Scholarship: approx. 1000 EUR (only for students studying abroad with citizenship other than Polish)

The top 10 submissions from international students studying abroad will be granted residence scholarships for PLN 4,920.00. The scholarship may be used for: the purchase of a plane ticket from the country of the project participant for PLN 1,700.00, accommodation costs (7 days, hotel with breakfast) for PLN 2,500.00, food costs during the implementation of the Action for PLN 595.00 PLN (7 days x PLN 85.00) and insurance costs for the duration of the Action for PLN 125.00.

4. Declaration of the Project Participant regarding personal data GDPR POWER (Annex No. 4),
5. Project Participant’s declaration regarding the personal data of the GDPR NAWA (Annex No. 5),
6. Additional consent of the Project Participant to the processing of personal data (Annex No. 6),
7. English language certificate at B2 level,
8. Confirmation of the student status issued by the home university.
